Story behind the weird link at the top of this post:
We have a close friend who has spent the last year working for the "CP80 Foundation." (Maybe you've heard of it?!)
This foundation has furnished a solution to Internet pornography that involves categorizing and channeling the Internet content.
"Right" you say, sarcastically.
But wait! Suspend your disbelief for a minute!
We really, really believe that the proposed CP80 sollution is totally viable. The concept they're proporting is a bit like Cable TV - once content is appropriately categorized, consumers will be able to choose what they want to receive as part of their Internet experience - and what sort of material is available within the walls of their own home.
CP80 will be introducing legislation in the US Congress within the next few months. They are also working internationally with countries including Brazil, Mexico, Australia, South Africa and South Korea.

Read a sobering article in the Church News last night about this problem and it is frightneing. I think the best personal defense is the reading of THE BOOK OF MORMON every day, but all it takes is for good people to do nothing, isn't that the quote, Mike? We went to see "Amazing Grace" last night and it was amazing. A beautiful film of the story of William Wilberforce, an abolitionist who worked for years to end the slave trade in England. I want to read the primary sources. The connection is that is took concerted effort for many many years and that it is always about money, life for property! But with pornography it is souls for property! In Las Vegas is it blatant but it is everywhere. The church news stated that it is prevelant in Utah because everyone assumes it is not an issue. We must protect our children, ourselves and our country. Raise the title of liberty and rally the good! Go see "Amazing Grace"!
